Pitch classifications provided by the Gameday Algorithm and may be inaccurate.Pitch Type LWTS correspond to how many runs were likely to score on a particular pitch based on average run expectancy when each pitch was thrown and what happened as a result. Negative scores indicate more effective pitches.Time to Plate is the time, in seconds, that it takes an average pitch of this type to reach the plate. This is strongly correlated with velocity, but also factors in movement. |

Senor Wizard
Just found your site a few weeks ago linked from SSS. Whoever you are, many thanks for providing a lot of great Sox info. So, can you update the signing status of all the Sox picks from this year or provide a link to show it? I know that our 8/10 round picks are probably not going to sign, but would like to know about some of the HS guys from the bottom of the draft.

yes, I’ll fix that.
I keep track of the draft day 1-2 picks here:
and the draft day 3 picks here:
when a pick is signed I make their name bold and make a post.
I better put a link on the tracker to their “signed page “

Thanks – I know the deadline is coming up and am curious to see who might sign late. Again, really enjoy the page and the info you provide. Hope you keep it up

I’d like some HS signings too. From the 12 HSers we drafted on Day 3 we have signed 1. Yes, 1. Bryce Mosier.
Yeah, when I have time I post. Thanks for the kind words!

I notice how none of this actually looks good.

I had the same reaction:
only 2 pitches, and both weren’t in negative territory (negative is better)
yes, he threw strikes but it was the 2011 twinkies…
