Heyman @ SI:

The White Sox are fielding calls on Edwin Jackson. In this market he may be the best out there as far as starting pitchers.

Hey, maybe Kenny will get Dan Hudson back!

UPDATE: J.J. and James give us their thoughts on the subject. J.J. more specifically on the problems with this particular rumor and James more generally on the problems with White Sox roster rigidity.

  1. for a arm in the pen? what else do we need that we can get?

    • how about some young starting pitching?

buehrle is a fa after the year is over, danks is a fa after next season, peavy is peavy and I don’t see any starting prospects besides john ‘terry’ doyle. kenny gave away hudson AND holmberg…

  2. hopefully they bring buehrle back, but I agree with some prospects! bring up viciedo and have pierre on the bench for pinch-running?

    • yes, pierre on the bench is ok, but if he is anywhere on the team can ozzie resist the urge to start him? I sure hope so. viciedo must come up.
