“The have a very good minor league system and (make) very good trades,” Guillen said. “They make trades, give away one guy and bring seven guys to the organization. At least one of them is going to come out pretty good. They make pretty good trades every year, and they manage the system. Their scouting’s been great, and they take advantage of the fact that people don’t support them. They have excuses because they say they can’t sign this guy, ‘OK I’ll trade you a guy and you give me five.’ You’re always going to have good players. To me, that organization is well done. They do it without money, but most of the time they are right on. When they’re the one with the players, they’re going to ask for a lot, and they always get them.”
Is there a dig at Kenny?
