Bobby Jenks to undergo kidney stone removal procedure

Filed under: Chicago White Sox — The Wizard @ August 4, 2009 7:21 pm

Mark Gonzales:

White Sox closer Bobby Jenks said he was leaving for the hospital to undergo a procedure to menove his kidney stones. Jenks won’t be available for a few games.

Scot Gregor:

Closer Bobby Jenks was taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon and is not available tonight. Jenks is still trying to pass another kidney stone, and he hasn’t looked too good the past few days.  If the issue is taken care of today, there still might be a few days of recovery time.

Closer by committee tonight.
