Mark Gonzales:

Carlos Quentin took early batting practice and wrapped up his session by hitting several deep drives to right field. Quentin headed to the right field line to run a series of 90-foot sprints at about three-quarters speed and is currently performing more agility drills under the supervision of conditioning director Allen Thomas.

Gonzales adds that:

Slugger  Carlos Quentin (plantar fasciitis) said he intensified his rehab work before Monday’s game and said he has no problems running straight ahead.
