The Sox left Terry Doyle unprotected in the Rule V draft

While Heath and Leesman are no longer at risk of being taken by another club, several White Sox Minor Leaguers, including outfielder Jordan Danks and right-hander Terry Doyle, were left unprotected.

The press release says the 40-man roster is now at 36.

Another dumb move. Doyle had a very good season:

Also, inside you can see the Pitch F/X data for his starts in AFL stadiums that were¬†Pitch F/X equipped. Average fastball was 92 mph. The guy threw strikes and didn’t walk batters. Why not give Doyle a shot to make the bullpen?
