Feeling bitter about Daniel Hudson? Clayton Richard is 2-9. Feel better???—

No, I feel pretty bad when I hear the name Daniel Hudson. What was Kenny hoping to do when he did the trade? Wasn’t he aware Hudson was in his first year of service time, that Edwin Jackson’s contract would be over after the 2011 season, and that Jackson’s agent was Scott Boras?
BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! Hudson is no HOFer.

assuming this isn’t sarcasm. I agree hudson is no hofer that but so what?
I say he’ better than edwin but you may disagree. ok, let’s say they’re of equal pitching value
well, hudson would’ve been ours until the end of 2015:
http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/ARI/2011-roster.shtml#payroll
say he gets $500k for each of his first 3 years and then $4/6/8 for his 3 arbitration years. total $19.5 million, say $20 million
edwin gets $8 million last year and this and hits free agency. to keep him he wants say 4×14. that’s $56 mil. 56 plus 16 is 72
hmmm, 20 for hudson or 72 for jackson
hmmm, that’s a rather easy decision…

14 may be big, make it 11, so 4×11=44, plus 16 is 60
so hudson for 20, jackson for 60
is jackson 3 times better than hudson?
