Seems Crisp beat Morel’s throw to 1st for the 3rd out in the 9th. Could Morel have tagged third base before the runner got there instead of throwing at 1st? Look at the video and judge for yourself. Seems very close to me. In any case, as J.J. says, Sergio must get his breaking stuff in the strikezone.

yeah, we got the w and detroit lost. I’m not complaining. we get plenty of calls against us!
sergio must snap out of it though. maybe he needs some 1-on-1 with coop.

for sure, I think it’s more mental than anything. he’s been walking a lot of guys (even after getting ahead 0-2) so maybe this off day will help.
