i'm ok with giving santos a try (i'm a bit nervous with his walk rate). and sale will try to go in the starting rotation on some point.

maybe they're preparing this reed guy (kannapolis) to be the next closer. he was the closer in san diego state.

and yes, yes, yes. let's hope thornton can go back and do what he did last year in the 7th and 8th.

sale didn't look too comfortable in the ninth inning either, granted the fact that he has been everywhere so far out of the bullpen. Ozzie might still be angry about the last game and not even consider sale for the job. I still think santos should be given at least a tryout for the role, but nobody else seems to think so. thornton has been terrible at this point, but let's hope we can find a decent closer and hope matt can do what he did for us last year in the 7th and 8th innings!

I think humber will go to the bullpen. no way I give him the closer job after 1 good game. his ratios don’t give me confidence. the guy has no track record. let’s see first what he does as a reliever.

I’d give the job to sale now.

when peavy is back, what will humber's new role be? call me crazy, but what if he can be the closer? at this point, we have no closer! it's pretty bad now, all my visions of this season are there, but the bullpen has given away all the games we lost. this could be a special year if games get closed out.
