Looking at Tango’s Run Expectancy Matrix (1993-2010) we see with men on 1st and 2nd and no outs the run expectancy is 1.557 runs. What happens if you lay down a successful bunt ? With men on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out the run expectancy DROPS to 1.447. Why then bunt at all? Let the player swing the bat Ozzie.

I agree with the bunt, but only if you have a run producer next, but to bunt with omar on deck, that play was a momentum killer and ultimatly cost us the game in my opinion.
