Jared Mitchell’s progressing nicely

Outfielder Jared Mitchell, who tore a tendon in his left ankle during spring training, is currently working out in the Arizona Instructional League.  The first-round pick in June of 2009 is expected to resume playing in the Arizona Fall League.
