It’s about throwing strikes … When he got here, I told him his first check from the White Sox was for his ability, but the rest of what he earns in the game will be from throwing strikes and [developing] an ability to change speeds … The roadsides are strewn with the dead (dreams) of guys in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and America who never understood that this is a game of throwing strikes.”
