“I think [Dan Hudson] was going to be like Gavin [Floyd] and [John] Danks. You know, they struggled with control [their first year], and then each year it gets better and better. Obviously, I think [Hudson] would have stuck around if we weren’t in contention and been allowed to develop into that. Being in contention, that kind of changed things.”
