Carlos Quentin is hereby forbidden to steal, per Guillen. “I have to take care of Carlos’ health,” the skipper said in reference to a reinjured wrist suffered sliding headfirst on a steal of third during this past road trip.
White Sox “not hot” for Prince Fielder
… Generally speaking teams have “backed off” Fielder, a source said. A second source said the White Sox have made overtures about Fielder, but are “not hot” on Milwaukee’s slugging first baseman.
