He’s playing his first game (at SS) with Bristol tonight. Salgado had signed a letter of intent to play at Kansas.

MLB’s scouting report video is here (0:32).

FutureSox on Salgado:

Brad Salgado is an athletic middle infielder who projects as a second baseman due to a lack of range for shortstop. He doesn’t have a lot of arm strength but he should be fine for 2B. He’s a smooth defender with soft hands and is very good at turning the double play. At the plate, Salgado is a line drive hitter who sprays the ball to all fields with occasional pop. He hit .375 this year with 5 home runs and 13 stolen bases and is committed to Kansas. The White Sox need more athletic middle infielders in their system and getting Brad Salgado to sign would be a major coup.
