General Soreness visits Jake Peavy

Jake Peavy took off his suit jacket Sunday morning without any sign of discomfort.

That was a start in the right direction for the White Sox and Peavy, one day after he threw a 107-pitch shutout after coping with an aching right shoulder.

“Just general soreness,” Peavy said. “Getting up and down nine times, there’s soreness there but hopefully we’ll work through it and be ready on Friday.”
