Brady Shoemaker named to the Topps Short-season All-Star team

Brady Shoemaker (22), of Brazil, Ind., led the Appalachian League with 21 doubles and 30 extra-base hits. The Bristol White Sox outfielder hit .351 with 34 RBIs in 57 games before jumping all the way up to Triple-A in September to finish his season. The Chicago White Sox drafted Shoemaker in the 19th round out of Indiana State University in June.
