Gavin is done with 2009

Maybe Mark Buehrle and D.J. Carrasco too:

The chances of Gavin Floyd pitching against Detroit this weekend basically were reduced to none on Monday, based on manager Ozzie Guillen’s pregame comments concerning shutting down his right-hander. Floyd has been bothered by muscle soreness in his left hip area and has not pitched since starting in Seattle on Sept. 16. But he doesn’t look to be the only White Sox pitcher out of service in these final six games. Mark Buehrle will pitch in the 2009 regular season finale only if the game means something to the Tigers. And reliever D.J. Carrasco, one of the most reliable hurlers on the White Sox staff this season, could be done as well due to a strained left hamstring suffered while stretching in the bullpen last week. …
