Bartolo Colon won't start tomorrow's game; Jose Contreras will

Bartolo Colon was scratched from Wednesday night’s start because of a sore right elbow. Jose Contreras will fill in for Colon. The severity of Colon’s injury wasn’t known, but it could pave the way for Clayton Richard to get another start if Colon’s pain lingers. The Sox, however, would need another left-handed reliever to complement Matt Thornton once he returns.
